Tigris® cylinder & euro cylinder locks thumb turn options

Tigris® cylinders have a range of thumb turn locks that are designed to meet the aesthetic and / or functional needs of the project.

Aesthetic euro cylinder thumb turns: These turns are designed to complement the other hardware fitted to the door.

Accessible euro cylinder thumb turns: Our special needs turns will generally make life easier through their easy grip and low force requirement. They are therefore 'universal' and suitable for all users; child, adult, the elderly or those with special needs.

Tigris® accessible euro cylinder thumb turn locks are designed to meet the needs of BS8300:2009 and contribute to satisfying the requirements of the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA).

Anti-ligature Turn
 Conventional door hardware provides a suitable means of attaching a ligature for the purpose of self harm. We have developed a thumbturn which, when used in conjunction with a suitable anti-ligature escutcheon, avoids any projection which can be used to attach a ligature
