How large & how complex will the master key system be?

There are two factors that govern the size of the complexity of the master key system. These are the number of pins that are utilised by the cylinder locks in the master key system and the family of key profiles that are available.
Six pin masterkey as standard: The Tigris® family of cylinder locks all utilise six pins as standard. This not only enhances the master key systems security but it also provides as much as 300% more capacity in the size and complexity capable of a master key system when compared against traditional 5 pin cylinders.
Multi profile masterkey: The use of multiple key profiles within the master key system offers a significant increase in the capacity of the system. The more key profiles that are available, the larger and more complex the system that can be accommodated.
- Tigris® and Tigris® Plus utilise a single key profile. These master key systems can accommodate 1200 individual cylinder locks controlled by a masterkey*
- Tigris® Premier utilises a family of 10 key profiles. These master key systems can accommodate 4000 individual cylinders locks controlled by a masterkey*
- Tigris® Omega utilises a family of 12 key profiles. These master key systems can accommodate 12000 individual cylinders locks controlled by a masterkey*
* Please note that the size of the system is offered as a guide only. The introduction of sub master keys and control keys for example will reduce the number of differs available. Please email enquiries@access2.com your system requirements we will be happy to confirm which system(s) can accommodate your specific requirements.
