Electronic Access

The eTigris®|ONE is an electronic access control device which uses RFID technology to control access authority to any type of electronic locking mechanism (i.e. electromagnet, electric strike, solenoid bolt for example).

The transmitter is located within the eTouch fob/key. The optional eButton device (for use with eTigris®|ONE solo and eTigris®|ONE duo models only) makes life easier for those that benefit from long range activation of the electronically controlled doors. The range exceeds 10 metres and is typically used by those people who use a wheelchair, an automatic door / low energy operator or when control is required for security gates for example.

Mechanical Access

The eTouch key consolidates mechanical and electronic security into one easy to use device. All Tigris® Premier and Omega keys can be incorporated within the eTouch device.

System Design Flexibility

In any system it is expected that there will be individuals who will require access to electronically controlled doors, i.e. main entrances, yet not require access to mechanically secured doors (and vice versa). It is also expected that certain individuals would require access to both electronically and mechanically secured doors.

The eTigris®|ONE system caters for these needs as electronic door users are supplied with the eTouch fob. Mechanical door users are supplied with keys only and those users who require access to both types of door are provided with eTouch key.

Designed for internal and vandal resistant applications

The eTigris®|ONE reader has been designed with good looks as an integral part of the package to suit even the most prestigious architectural projects. The reader is designed for internal and sheltered external applications. However, for exposed external positions, or for areas which may be susceptible to vandalism or misuse, a grade 304 satin stainless steel housing is available. The unit is available in flush or surface mounted options and does not affect the reading range of the eTouch Fob/Key or eButton transmitter.
